Who we are...
Legacy Ashland (founded as First Baptist Church of Ashland, Kentucky) exists to encourage and edify believers, follow the teachings of Jesus, and leave a legacy from one generation to the next. Our church has existed in downtown Ashland, KY since the 1880's.
Though the Methods of Ministry have changed over the years the Principles behind them have not. For nearly 150 years our church has worked to share God's word in evangelizing to our community, in teaching God's Word faithfully, and in partnering with other churches and mission agencies to spread the good news of Jesus to the ends of the Earth.

Where we are headed...
It is our desire to care for people in all walks of life. We want to partner with our local school systems to mentor and disciple kids and families of all ages. We are also working to care for those in nursing homes to bring God's Word to those who might not physically be able to make it to a church service.
We are also working to update our own church facilities to be able to care for more families and provide a warm and inviting atmosphere to study God's Word, engage in friendships, and encourage one another to follow after Jesus all the more while we are here.
